Fab Youth Philly

 

Fab Youth Philly (FYP) is an award-winning youth development nonprofit.

​

We create meaningful year-round workforce development opportunities for teens ages 14-19 through summer and after-school jobs. For over 85% of participants, FYP is their first job, and we ensure they gain critical career skills from the application process through exit surveys.

​

Since 2017, FYP has catalyzed youth employment across Philadelphia by combining workforce development with play-based neighborhood engagement, specifically focusing our work in West Philadelphia and Kensington. ​

​

FYP's programs are intentionally designed to support teenagers' developmental needs by helping them:

  • Gain financial independence

  • Explore their interests and passions

  • Build meaningful relationships with both peers and adults

 

Our Mission is to, "Build bridges to adulthood through meaningful employment, strong community connections, and opportunities for teens to explore their passions.”​

In 2021, the National Summer Learning Association selected us as an Excellence in Summer Learning Awardee!
